What is OutMaps?
OutMaps is a local guide helping visitors and residents discover Brighton, its areas, businesses and places of interest. Out in Brighton is our Brighton guide.
Is the guide free to browse?
You can browse the guide without buying a listing or paying a visitor subscription. Individual venues and activities may charge for their own services.
How do I find somewhere on the map?
Open a map or area page and select a location marker to see the available details. Where provided, use search or category controls to narrow your choices. Some map content is supplied by Google within the OutMaps website.
Are opening times, menus and prices guaranteed?
Details can change. Check directly with the venue before travelling, booking or relying on an opening time, menu, price or offer.
How do I add my business?
Visit Add My Business and follow the available submission steps. If you need help or the form does not offer what you need, email info@outmaps.co.uk. Submitting details does not guarantee publication.
Can I update a listing or report a misplaced marker?
Email info@outmaps.co.uk with the business name, page link, correction and accurate address or map location. Please tell us if you represent the business.
How are food businesses displayed?
The intended food directory lists participating businesses alphabetically by name. Available logos, descriptions and menu links depend on the information supplied and approved for each listing.
Can I see a menu or book a table?
Use the menu, website or booking links where supplied. Some menus open on OutMaps; others lead to the venue’s own service. Contact the venue for bookings, availability, allergies and dietary requirements.
Where can I find family facilities or accessible venues?
Use the relevant guide sections and available venue details. For toilets, changing facilities, step-free access or other specific needs, confirm availability with the venue or facility operator before your visit.
Can I become a contributor or verifier?
See Contributors & verifiers or email us to express interest. Contributor and verifier arrangements, including any payment rates and approval process, are still being developed. There is no confirmed payment rate at present.
What does advertising cost?
Listing packages and add-ons are being developed. Contact us for current availability and a confirmed price before agreeing to any paid service.
Does OutMaps own the businesses shown?
Businesses operate independently unless expressly stated otherwise. Their services, purchases, bookings and external websites are governed by their own terms.
How do cookies and Google services work?

Who runs the site and how do I contact them?
