Connect once in ChatGPT

1. Install the OutMaps website update ZIP using Code Updates.
2. In ChatGPT, open Plugins → Add → Upload plugin archive.
3. Choose OutMaps-Max-ChatGPT-Plugin-v1.zip, supplied separately from the website update.
4. Choose Connect. Keep your OutMaps Admin signed in, then approve Allow read access on this website.
5. Install/enable the plugin for your OutMaps chat. Ask Max to read the live site inventory.

The plugin archive contains the endpoint settings, not passwords. If ChatGPT asks for a client secret, stop and check the OAuth configuration: this connection uses a public client with PKCE and no client secret.

For a custom-server form, use these endpoints in Advanced OAuth settings. Automatic discovery outside TheNewSite is not installed; the supplied plugin archive declares the endpoints explicitly.

What is shared?

Read the TheNewSite folder map, selected code checksums and maintenance status. Read public HTML/CSS/JavaScript and an explicit allowlist of the code files in these updates. Private folders, passwords, access configuration, saved campaigns and customer records are excluded. Source reads are limited to 512 KB per file and returned in smaller chunks.

This connection has no tools to upload, apply, rename or delete website files. Continue using Code Updates to apply changes.
